Last month, we partnered with @quietstepsfest in Leeds for their debut year, working to open up grassroots opportunities for artists and emerging industry professionals. Taking place at @projecthouselds, Quiet Steps is a brand new one-day, two-stage festival centred around emo, math and post-hardcore, from the team behind @dirtyotterleeds As part of the partnership, we created 3 performance slots for underrepresented artists from the region, and 7 paid industry placements for early-career professionals. This work was funded by @aceagrams ’ Grassroots Music Fund, to support underrepresented local grassroots artists and provide paid early-career festival roles. We caught up with some of the team helping out on the day to hear how it went in their own words… Find out more about Launchpad and the opportunities available across Yorkshire via the link in our bio 🔗 taken in Project House by @quietstepsfest

The last two days have been perfect. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and showed us so much love. Special thanks to @patrickosomers at DHP and @jamesotter / @mattyotter for being the absolute best humans and making these shows as excellent as they could be. @quietstepsfest was without a doubt the best thing that’s ever happened for underground punk/emo/whatever in the UK. Absolutely wild. by @quietstepsfest

I got an email from @quietstepsfest about doing some design work, and I thought ‘mint, I love Steps’. But it was a festival run by some mates in Leeds, so I said yes and this is what I came up with. If you’re off to the festival tomorrow, you’ll be able to buy this bag. Please tag me if you do, it was fun making it. . . . . . . #print #northern #smallbusiness #design #screenprint taken in Project House by @quietstepsfest
