Last month, we partnered with @quietstepsfest in Leeds for their debut year, working to open up grassroots opportunities for artists and emerging industry professionals. Taking place at @projecthouselds, Quiet Steps is a brand new one-day, two-stage festival centred around emo, math and post-hardcore, from the team behind @dirtyotterleeds As part of the partnership, we created 3 performance slots for underrepresented artists from the region, and 7 paid industry placements for early-career professionals. This work was funded by @aceagrams ’ Grassroots Music Fund, to support underrepresented local grassroots artists and provide paid early-career festival roles. We caught up with some of the team helping out on the day to hear how it went in their own words… Find out more about Launchpad and the opportunities available across Yorkshire via the link in our bio 🔗
