The energy in the space really was something else. Community and celebration are things we’re all trying to connect with in this digital age; it’s so heartwarming to experience a room full of artists sharing and appreciating one another’s craft.

4th August 2026 - Sports Day 🏅

MAULETI came together with @ldnadavu for a light hearted (mostly) sports day!!

What a fun evening full of laughter , good vibes and lots of competition!! Thank you to everyone who came to have an amazing time with us on a Tuesday evening !

It’s such a joy to bring people together from all walks of life and just have a fun evening. People just reconnecting with their inner child while outside connecting with their bodies in nature the way it’s meant to be!

While sports and art are often in separate categories the level of skill, dedication, passion and love required to do both always made me connect to both! So what better way to bring both my loves together for our second event ! A whole evening of creative sports relays, an intense match of rounders, lots of volleyball relays and many other made up games 🏐

Thank you to everyone at the @ldnadavu team for helping make my vision come to life and @ami_jay for doing this with me 🤍

MAULETI
~ May 2026 ~
@galleriaobjets

So much work went behind making these 2 days happen. Many sleepless nights, lots of doubt but a whole lot of faith! All of it was worth it when I got to see and experience Mauleti in the flesh last week. I’m not someone who is good at complimenting myself, but this was a HUGE feat to pull off and I’m still trying to process how incredible those 2 days were!

We came together, laughed, cried, slowed down, listened and felt MAULETI! I think we all felt how special those 2 days were and I’m really excited to announce that Mauleti will continue in various formats throughout the year! Follow us for more information! @mauleti.co 🍋

Grateful to my little community for pulling through and helping me with set up @yu.folio , @adhya.shastry , @preetipm_ & @nitikajainnn !! And thank you to my incredible artists , I couldn’t have asked for a better community of people to bring the first iteration of Mauleti to life 🤍

My other half @riccardotitopescini for your constant support in the lead up and on the 2 days!

Beyond all of that, this couldn’t have happened without the beautiful support of my Maa + Papsi ! The people that have inspired me from day 1 and without whose support none of this would have been possible 🤍

AND A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came ! None of this would mean anything without everyone who came into the space and experienced this world! Over 200 people throughout the days on the FIRST ever Mauleti event! What a beautiful place this world is ✨

Here’s to more in the future 🥂

More than a month since our table at @mauleti.co and I am still sitting with it.

We weren’t there to sell. We were there for a conversation about the future of South Asian arts beyond the colonial lens. That alone was worth showing up for.

But sales happened and so did something I didn’t expect.

=============

The room was full of people who are so much more than their day jobs. A lawyer who paints. A student who dances. A consultant who directs. As a corporate dropout following a passion, it felt good to be in that room.

=============

Ours was the only table not showing something I had made with my own hands. For a moment, I wondered if I belonged

But then every person who stopped to pick an object, shared a fond memory it invoked. A grandmother’s kitchen. A festival morning. A smell from years ago.

Its true that I don’t make these objects with my own hands. But I handpick each from thousands I see, touch and feel. And I don’t take it lightly that if not for Vaarsa, these hidden gems may never see the UK sun.

==============

The two days at @mauleti.co in a creatively charged room brought me clarity about my own craft. The art of curation. And the value that it allows me to bring to you. A heritage you can hold 💫

Thank you @_aishanighosh 🤍

MAULETI by @_aishanighosh

A beautiful and thoughtfully curated two day creative exhibition that made me feel grateful for the way we have been brought up in this country by our parents, learnt and expanded our creativity. South Asian arts not just for the sake of calling it that but truly rooted in a space that felt like an extension of home.

I got to serve some unabashedly Kolkata flavours in true street stall style and meet, dance with, eat alongside some very inspiring women. And to do all of this on Brick Lane, felt rather emotional. Our voices and creativity being properly felt by everyone that walked in for free.

Follow these incredible people doing such good work to keep up to date with such other wonderful things!
