My dad isn’t able to travel to Vietnam for our wedding this fall, so my family threw @mochi.minh and I a celebration at annual family camping. It was so special to be surrounded by family and serve my parents tea per the Viet tradition. Thank you to my siblings for making it happen. ❤️ by @mavchee

We wrapped our travel for the year with a trip to Vietnam. I’d spent most of my youth distancing myself from my heritage. But as I’ve learned to let go of that internalized shame, I’ve come to appreciate my culture for all its unhinged, unbridled, optimistic beauty.

[Oct-Dec ‘25] I started doing these recaps bc I was inspired by @bryrocks very millennial approach of actually using IG to record memories vs just ephemeral reels.

The main reason why I went back to Burning Man this year was to take part in @charmedcoco57 and @ski_pup ‘s wedding. We wanted to make it special—to celebrate the couple in a way that felt true to them.

But the weather was so terrible those first few days. As the rain persisted as we proceeded to the ceremony site, I felt dejected—I thought their wedding was ruined.

But the rain suddenly stopped and the clouds parted, as if the gods were saying, we see you and we celebrate your love.

I will remember that day for the rest of my life. Thank you @ski_pup and @charmedcoco57 for allowing me to play a part in the beginning of your next chapter.
