After two great years of racing through the streets of Norman, the Maverick Criterium will not return in 2027.

Although this was a tough decision, we’re incredibly grateful to the riders, spectators, volunteers, sponsors and partners who helped bring MavCrit to life and made two memorable race weekends possible in Norman.

Thank you for showing up, racing, cheering loud and being part of the ride 🚴

We’re proud of what we built together and grateful to everyone who was part of it.

Here’s to two great years of MavCrit ❤️

#MavCrit 2026 was a MASSIVE W, and it’s because of the wonderful support of our volunteers. Countless committee hours, organizing and braving the Oklahoma heat all amounted to a successful race.

We can’t wait to do it bigger and better in 2027 and we hope to see many of you again. From the bottom of our hearts… THANK YOU! 🙏 ❤️ taken in Norman, Oklahoma by @mavcrit

MavCrit 2026 is in the books! A huge thank you to everyone who came to compete, support and organize this event. Putting on something like this takes a massive effort from everyone involved and we can’t overstate how much we appreciate you all.

2027 will be even bigger!
