This Saturday, Jun 6 - ZINI joins our 4 Year Anniversary celebration for a special extended set, bringing the kind of versatility and musical depth that has made him one of the most respected selectors in the underground. With a wide-ranging approach that effortlessly moves between deep house, minimal, tech house, and everything in between, ZINI has a rare ability to read a room and guide a dance floor exactly where it needs to go.

we’re excited to give him the space to do what he does best: take his time and tell a story. Expect an extended journey from a DJ whose knowledge, range, and musical instincts continue to make him a favorite among dancers and fellow selectors alike. by @mawazination

November 22, 2024 - with gigs in the USA, Canada, and Germany successfully executed, I kicked off the final leg of my winter tour at ZINI’s home in Sayulita, @le.zouave.de.hafa!

After a 1.5 year absence from Mexico, it felt so fucking good to be back to the area where it all started for ZINI in 2022. Starting with a warm welcome from @alexnotemily & @coding4tacos, I was ready to spend the next 3 weeks reimmersing myself in the community that discovered me.

Thank you to the great team at @le.zouave.dehafa for putting this together and always making me feel welcomed - @eder.raygoza and @potato_gangi you boys killed it as usual. As always, I’m grateful for all the good friends that were so intentional in coming out to DANCE and truly making this night feel like a homecoming party! taken in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico by @mawazination

November 16 - I rode the @freaknjones x ZINI party train all the way to Karlsruhe!

After an eventful night of afterpartying in the German capital, I traveled 6 hours by train to headline a party at @cluberdbeermund in the city of Karlsruhe! Situated near the French border in southwest Germany, this city is the hometown of @eros.bilgic and birthplace of his @freaknjones party series. Supported by a 5-star sound system, I had the fortune of playing out to a room full of open-minded music heads who were there to DANCE! The night ended with @erosbilgic and @fnj_ori taking us to church with a high-energy B2B set.

This was the second and final stop for ZINI in Germany, and what a way that was to wrap things up! Starting with @fnj_ori’s super warm welcome the moment I stepped into the space, I felt so much love and appreciation from everyone in that venue. So many people took the time to say hello, welcome me to their city, and have interesting conversations about German culture and dance music around the country.

Big thanks to @erosbilgic and @freaknjones for inviting me out to Germany, and to my brother @_baslin__ for hosting me with so much care in Berlin! With my USA, Canada, and Germany bookings now in the bag, it was time to head to warmer lands and wrap up ZINI’s winter tour in Mexico! taken in Karlsruhe, Germany by @mawazination

ZINI’s love for house music traces back to early childhood years growing up with a musically-obsessed brother in Abu Dhabi.
Inspired by the magic, he would make mixtapes, CDs and playlists to share the love with friends. Coming from a Syrian background, residing overseas, and having travelled to nearly 40 countries, ZINI’s exposure to a multitude of music scenes has helped broaden and shape his music perspective. After years of traveling solo and partying with local underground communities across the world, ZINI serendipitously came to fruition and the DJ project was launched in 2022. Having just headlined Rimouski’s RDGTL festival in Quebec, ZINI visited Elephant’s studio in Montreal to record a breaks-exclusive mix. by @mawazination

As we get ready to wrap up summer here’s a recap of how it started 🪴 the Listening Room at @plant_mode was less about going out and more about settling in. Friends catching up, warm cups in hand, and music filling the room just right.
