‘Breakfast is ready!’

The kitchen is a place for gathering on a Sunday morning here at @mawson_house. There’s nothing better than a warm, home-cooked breakfast on a cold winter morning, don’t you think?

Are you one for eggs and bacon, or pancakes? 🍳🥞

🌿🏡 Embrace the Green! 🌿🏡

Hi plant lovers! 🌱💚 We get asked in DMs all the time about our gorgeous indoor plants, so it was about time they had a post of their own!

Our interior plant selection and design was done by the very talented @figdesigngardens 🪴

Thinking of introducing some to your own space? Here’s some of the reasons why you should:

1️⃣ Improved Air Quality: they act as natural air purifiers, removing toxins and releasing oxygen. They help combat indoor pollutants and promote cleaner, fresher air for us to breathe. 🌬️💨

2️⃣ Mood Boosters: Surrounding ourselves with lush greenery has a positive impact on our mental health. House plants reduce stress, improve focus, and create a calm and soothing atmosphere in our homes. 🌿😌

3️⃣ Health Benefits: Studies have shown that having house plants can reduce the risk of allergies, enhance productivity, and even speed up recovery time from illnesses. They contribute to our overall well-being. 🌱💪

Share your favorite house plant stories and tips in the comments below! 🌱💭

We love our stunning gooseneck light on the front verandah at @mawson_house, illuminating the charm of our beautifully renovated white weatherboard ✨✨

As the evenings grow darker, our guests can flip the switch on their way out to dinner and be greeted by the gentle glow of this light upon arriving home.

It’s details like this that make @mawson_house more than just a house; it's a haven of charm and elegance. Our gooseneck light on the front verandah encapsulates the essence of our home, enhancing its beauty and inviting everyone to witness the magic.

Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens 🍂

Looking to explore while you stay?

“Locals and visitors have been enjoying the panoramic views and beautiful surrounds of the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens since the 1860s.

Perched high on the summit of an extinct volcano, it's the perfect spot for a picnic. Climb the Pioneers Lookout Tower for uninterrupted views of Daylesford town and surrounds …” @visitmelbourne

Make the most of the phenomenal autumn leaves over the next couple of weeks!

We have next weekend available (Friday 26 — Sunday 28) snap it up at the link in our bio! 🍂
