Once upon a time I used to lament the lack of flowers in my garden and I wanted to have them all year around and plant them accordingly—but I know now, never to worry. There is greenery around us everywhere, from the pale sages of eucalyptus and olive leaves, to deeper full bodied greens of all sorts of trees and shrubs. If you’re lucky enough to have your own to prune and pick, greenery can have the most fabulous impact. I’m notorious for plucking long tall branches of foliage out of the pruning piles and giving them one more final flush inside. Greenery indoors has become a way of life for a vast majority of us, whether it’s a temporary vase arrangement or the more permanent installations of indoor plants. Either way, you could say we thrive better with nature inside our homes as well as out. Do you agree?
