South Africans have every right to demand secure borders, accountable governance, and the enforcement of immigration laws.

However, our frustration should be directed at the systems that have failed us, not at innocent people. Corruption within immigration and law enforcement structures has enabled illegal migration, and those responsible must be held accountable.

At the same time, African governments must create conditions that allow their citizens to prosper at home. A strong Africa is built on economic opportunity, lawful governance, and mutual respect.

I reject violence, xenophobia, and vigilantism. Justice must be pursued through the rule of law.

A divided Africa benefits those who profit from instability. A united Africa, committed to accountability and development, benefits us all.
