Every child at Rady Children’s has a story worth celebrating, and today we had the privilege of skating with one of our very own rink heroes. His courage, joy, and strength inspire every single glide across the ice this season. Seeing him skate beside his poster on the boards made the entire rink feel brighter and reminded us why this tradition matters so much to our community. Behind every photo on our rink boards is a journey filled with resilience and hope, and today we got to witness that journey in person. Sharing the ice with him brought so much happiness and purpose to our day. His smile, his energy, and his spirit highlight exactly what this season is all about.
