Happy birthday 🎂🎁🎊 to my stupendous son Matthias! Grateful to have celebrated together by completing a two week, 100+ mile backpacking adventure in the backcountry of Northern New Mexico at Philmont Scout Ranch with Troop 33. Back to the Eighties with Jessie’s Girl was a great date night with my wonderful wife and friends. Channeled Sid Vicious and Not Nancy to have a great time reliving our high school days/daze. We answered the burning questions of the night — where can I find a woman like that (Takoma Park) and why do punk rock guys go out with new wave girls (because they are hot)? by @maxfinberg

As we remember and celebrate the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., it is easy to forget the harder messages this modern day prophet had for those of us who live in the United States, especially those who profess Jesus as the Christ. Tomorrow is a great opportunity to read those hard words again, and recommit to our part in creating the Beloved Kingdom that King and the Christ shared. by @maxfinberg

So proud of our darling daughter Eliana! She just accepted her slot as a Tufts Jumbo in the class of 2027. Kate and I are over the moon 🌙 that she will be at our alma mater 👩‍🎓 taken in Tufts University by @maxfinberg

Celebrating my son’s accomplishment of hiking 21 miles, including 3000 ft change in elevation, on the dormant volcano 🌋 of Haleakala in Maui, Hawaii. “I didn’t think my body could do it,” was his quote upon finishing. by @maxfinberg

So proud of my son Matthias for hiking 21 miles in 13 hours over two days - in the dormant volcano 🌋 crater of Haleakala in Maui. “I didn’t think my body could do it” was his reflection after climbing the final 2000 feet up the crater rim.
