This was the last song I made with my friend Simon 🖤

I’ve been overthinking how to post this. The community lost such a legend. I didn’t want to make it about me, but I know Simon would tell me to get this jam out there! I remember showing them the demo to this song and I could see the creative wheels turning right away. We spent a whole day just making guitar sounds and messing with pedals and different tunings and amp feedback. It was one of the most fulfilling creative sessions I’ve ever had. That’s just how Simon worked. Total focus and engagement. Even with someone’s tunes like mine…who just does this for fun. I’m not trying to become a full time musician or be anything specific. I just wanted to make music with my friends. And Simon was about it! I’ll Always cherish the times we had in Type One Studios, and I’m so glad I filmed some of the process. This song is dedicated to you, mate. Tunnel of reverb forever 🖤 The Angles We Bend is out everywhere, and the Recording BTS is in the link in my bio if you'd like to see mor by @maxgensler
