The Missouri House of Representatives has passed HB 2061, which would expand the definition of antisemitism to include certain criticisms of the State of Israel. This includes comparisons to past genocides, undeniably restricting how these issues can be discussed in educational settings.
Academic freedom is under attack and the ability of students and educators to engage in open dialogue about international human rights and state violence is being silenced.

We have to ensure this bill does not make it through the senate! by @maxiglamour

Is Israel really a queer “safe haven”? Maxi Glamour, Commissioner of the Civil Rights Enforcement Agency (St. Louis), breaks down how pinkwashing is used to distract from occupation, apartheid, and the daily oppression of Palestinians. Comments promoting violence or vulgarity will be deleted.

As an anarchist and Marxist, I believe we have a responsibility to eradicate hierarchical structures that depend on exploitation. As someone with a voice, I find it important to speak out for the voiceless, recognizing that our struggles are interconnected.

It’s hard to see how the exploitation of cows connects to that of the proletariat until you recognize how concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) poison our air, land and waterways. It can be difficult to recognize these intersections until we consider how the dehumanization of people reflects and reinforces the ways we think about and treat nonhuman animals.

I’m excited to join @start4animals at @stlouisvegfest to discuss the environmental impacts of CAFOs with @moenvironment! I’ll also be speaking on intersectional veganism and discursive tactics for liberation!

Can’t wait to see y’all at VegFest! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 by @maxiglamour

The rich are getting richer while the world crumbles around us!

Multinational corporations hoard wealth as we creep closer to a technofeudalist dystopia, where forests are cleared, fossil fuels are burned, and our planet is sacrificed for corporate profit.

The rich are suffocating us, welcome to late stage capitalism!!

Also stream “Money” on all streaming platforms to help me survive!! 🫶🏾 by @maxiglamour

Took a midweek journey through Missouri! A four hour detour showed off a rural portrait of the southwestern quadrant of the state at the tip of Autumn. We journeyed from St Louis to the Bootheel then to Columbia, ending on a boat in the middle of the Missouri.

It was a memorable time spent with the outreach and policy team, exploring Missouri and solidifying @moenvironment’s strategy for the next legislative session.

Looking forward to protecting Missouri from factory farming, data centers, forever chemicals, toxic waste, and rising urban temperatures! There’s a lot of work ahead of us, but 2027 is gonna be our year. by @maxiglamour

St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is hosting special programming that features the music of Studio Ghibli. The masterpiece behind the movies’ sound is Joe Hisaishi who conducted his way into our hearts and imaginations for decades.

I look forward to seeing this performance but need some friends to go with me! Comment below what you think my favorite Ghibli Movie is for a chance to win a pair of free tickets! by @maxiglamour
