I spotted this trend on @pinterest and couldn’t not recreate! Got a pack of second hand charms and a lock from @ebay_uk then I just charmed the hell out of it! Such an easy and fun way to add a little sparkle to the front door, now I just need to get her in situ!

We decided to have our ten year vow renewal in our flat, even though we’ve barely started the renovation…

Why? So many reasons but apart from saving us a lot of money the main reason was that we wanted to share our space with our loved ones, it might not be finished (or even really started!) but this represented a big move for us and as a lot of our friends and family live far from us I will take every opportunity I get to show them ever iteration of our home. Although I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous! I wouldn’t usually throw such a big event in something unfinished but I’m learning to embrace the unfinished, the process, the middle. Here’s to not waiting until something is “perfect” and “finished” to show it off! by @maximalist.interiors

The art pieces that have moved house with me multiple times always end up being vintage and independent artists. It’s actually the only art I buy now.

I’m going in hard with a floral theme in the living room, there isn’t a huge amount of wall space so instead of adding panelling or coving (that’s a future job) im focusing on creating a few gallery walls. This is the first! What’s your thoughts on gallery walls? Love them or not? by @maximalist.interiors

Open plan vs hatches. With our little kitchen hatch, I like the openness it creates without having everything open plan, something I like in principle but not in actuality. And supposedly open plan is now out of trend - what are your thoughts? Do you think this is the end of everything open plan?

The hatch also makes a great ledge for trinkets!
