Still can’t get over this vintage paper I found at the Barras 😍🧡✨

Wallpapering alone was daunting enough but working with deadstock lampshade fabric is another, so thankful to have @maximalist.interiors at hand to help a sister out! Didn’t she do an amazing job? (I helped I promise 🤣)

One down, one to go! Question is… What do you think I should do with the remaining fabric? Let me know your suggestions below! 🧡✨

I remember first seeing this image of @maximalist.interiors unfinished stairs and shouting at the phone ‘no don’t touch it!!’. I don’t think they heard me...
I love multiples layers of old paint or wallpaper that have been unearthed through renovations, it’s a finish that you just cannot purposefully recreate.
It’s history.

“Its whatever you want it to be, but originally a screen printed roll of lampshade fabric that we found in an old Glasgow factory”

I’ve got many a Barras find in my flat (bowl of orange ceramic included) but I have to say, this may be my best yet.

In absolute immaculate condition, this roll of 70’s delight was found with a bunch of others in an old local factory cupboard before @andrewrandall8 snapped them up for reselling.

I don’t know a huge amount about the designer, just that it was printed by Ramms onto cotton then backed by some sort of card, but if anyone has any other ideas of its history please let me know!

I’m now thinking that it was ment to be that I procrastinated the arch job so long! Otherwise, who knows if it would have made it home to me. I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again, some vintage is just ment to be.

Swipe for a close up and the before of my most delayed yet exciting home makeover yet! One arch down, one to go! 🧡✨ #ForeverYoursHome

Transforming a beige box into a peach dream ✨ mixing vintage & thrifted items with more modern pieces will always bring life into a room, whatever the colour on the walls! Although this colour palette was fully inspired by the 70s. Trust me when I say if I could have fit a conversation pit in here I would have ✨
