JUST SHIT IS OUT NOW!!!!! 💩

Just Shit is the opening track of ANALBUM. It felt important to begin here. This song introduces the anu$ as a portal that receives, releases and transforms, and asks what might happen if we stopped holding everything in all the time. Shame, grief, desire, failure, pleasure, anger, all the shit we try to hide or control can move through us and become something else. Shit can become compost. Just Shit introduces the pulse that runs through the entire album: change through release instead of always producing or building something new. No profit, no master, no order, no king, Just Shit.

Peekaboo will take over the Rubens Room at @kmska_museum for one night only!!!

Thursday 29 January 2026, with performances at 20:00, 20:30 and 21:00.

@maximedreesen presents three live fragments of Peekaboo, right in the heart of the museum.

Bodies and sculptures enter into dialogue with each other and with the space. The Rubens Room transforms into a playground for desire and imagination, where baroque history meets the present and speculates about a sexy future.

Inspired by genderfluid cruising culture, Peekaboo turns the museum into a playful, erotic and immersive experience.

AUDITIONS ARE OPEN (CALL IS CLOSED)

On #worldaidsday, Maxime Dreesen is looking for performers and artists for a new performance exploring the histories and lived realities of hiv. It explores sexuality, care, danger, shame and grief as interconnected energies, with humor, pleasure and hope at the core of the creative process.

The piece works with text, music and movement to create a performative language where vulnerability and strength coexist. Collective imagination, experimentation and playful weirdness are central.

Looking for performers who
• are interested in hiv-related histories or themes connected to sexuality and care
• feel at home in text- and music-driven work
• enjoy working with voice, music or movement
• are open to research-based rehearsal processes
• are comfortable exploring desire, intimacy and playful tension

All genders and bodies are welcome. One internship position within the creative team is also available.

Rehearsals: late 2026 – early 2027
Premiere: early 2027
Locations: Belgium and the Netherlands
Payment: CAO

Apply via the link in bio
Applications open until 21/12/2025 (CLOSED)
