‘Tides’
An @auto___amor group exhibition.

This piece is a spray stencil of the tangerine sunset from Margate’s Harbour arm, looking across the @turnercontemporary
I thought it would be interesting to approach a landscape scene in a medium I usually use for graphic subjects.

Open 12-5 daily at @charlieevaristoboyce gallery until November 1st
Then Auto Amor HQ for 5th - 10th. All works are also available to view on @artsy

Guest curators @aliceherrickstudio @margoinmargate @toetofro @danthompson33 @charlieevaristoboyce

Such a lovely range of styles at the show! My photos wouldn’t do it justice to head to Artsy to see them all online if you can’t make it in person. by @maximillianboxer

Five years ago, after a few months of dating, me and Cake came across a pair of baby bunny dungarees. We brought them, even though it felt a silly and odd thing to buy so soon into knowing each other.

Last February, after a year of hoping for a baby, we were engaged at the Okazaki shrine in Kyoto and wrote an Ema prayer.

The ‘bunny temple’, which dates back 1400 years, offers blessings for fertility and health for mother & baby.

It worked. Exactly 9 months later, our little bunny blessing is nearly here. 🐇 by @maximillianboxer

The bandits have been at the @sillymargate trinket box 🚓

LOOK MUM!!! ELIJAH WOOD CAME TO MARGATE JUST TO VISIT MY SHOP !! 😭🧡

I genuinely cannot believe I’m writing this, but after finding my silly little shop on social media, Frodo himself decided to make a special trip to Margate just to visit SILLY!!! And what an absolute DELIGHT he was!!!

Silly loves silly, and as much as I could have spent hours talking to him about wigs, LotR or how excited I am for the new season of Yellowjackets, the most wonderful part was that we didn’t talk about any of that!

Yapping away like old friends, we talked about everything and nothing. Our families, death, childhood memories and all the trinkets bits and things and such that we collected along the way. Honestly, I could have talked to him for HOURS (and he was in for almost two!)

When I opened SILLY, I wanted to fill it full of things that made me smile hoping they might do the same for others. What I didn’t realise was just how many wonderful people and conversations those not so silly little things would bring into my life.

And to have someone so wonderful and silly that I admire come all this way and tell me how proud I should be of what I’ve created, how special SILLY is and how much he enjoyed our conversation… I honestly can’t tell you what that meant to me.

ANYWAY, ELIJAH BLOODY WOOD HAS A SILLY BAG FULL OF TRINKETS, BITS AND THINGS AND SUCH AND A @maximillianboxer ORIGINAL AND IM SO HAPPY!!! 🧡👏

Watching this years @thetraitorsukofficial and realise I never posted this from summer!

Big thank you to @stephenlibby & @donaldlibby16 for buying my spray stencil piece ‘Bouquet’ from KellArt’s Hackney gallery @kellartgallery

Love this photo of the piece floated in frame and on display with Stephen; he made Season 4 the best yet.

Funnily enough I met his partner Daniel Quirke by chance at Landscape Artist of the Year in the Dreamland episode (airing in January). Funny how life works.

Check out KellArt online or at one of their galleries to see more of my work. by @maximillianboxer
