“The challenge was to make a tourism film that never felt like tourism, to let culture become its guiding thread, so that those who call Catalonia home could recognize themselves in it, while those discovering it from afar could feel moved by it. Rather than creating a catalogue of landmarks, we built a narrative in which different layers of Catalan culture overlap and speak to one another: recognizable icons, symbols, traditions and different expressions of a shared identity. Shooting on 16mm gave it the visual coherence and tactile quality we were looking for: something imperfect, immediate and real-less like a postcard, more like a memory.” - Director: @maxlarruy Catalan Tourist Board "Sense Paraules" A film by @maxlarruy Cinematography @arturpolcamprubi Score & sound design @nilciuro Vocals @tartarelena Art direction @mariapuiggonzalez Costume design @florvioletasobrequespalma Still photography @ana_larruy Color grading @juliarossetticolor Cast @mercedes.cech @charlesfernandezfuentes @saschapeskens @pumalanda @anna__sher__ @thiagosoldironco Agency @somos.normmal @xarlieg Production company @colmadotv EPs @clararoo_ Jordi Clusella Producer @mmmarrrttta_ Makeup & hair @mechivelasquesmakeup Violin @mariafloreaviolin Gaffer Alberto Alvarez 1st AC @marc.villafranca 2nd AC @ferran_hernandez Edit @maxlarruy Tech Specs: Super 16 Kodak Vision3 50D · 250D · 500T Budget: Over $100k by @maxlarruy
