SENSE PARAULES | 50D, 250D, 200T 16mm

A cinematic journey through Catalan culture, where art, landscape, music, tradition and contemporary creation become part of the same emotional language.

For the Cultura campaign, the challenge was to represent the breadth of Catalonia without turning the film into a catalogue. The client brief contained many cultural references, territories and institutions, but the creative approach was to integrate them into purposeful scenes, allowing a single sequence to carry several layers at once. Rather than separating heritage, landscape, performance and contemporary creation, the film treats them as connected expressions of the same identity.

We wanted the images to feel tactile, timeless and emotionally present. Shooting on Kodak film gave the campaign a texture capable of holding both the heritage and the contemporary energy of Catalan culture: the warmth of skin, stone, fabric, landscape and light; the imperfections of real places and real bodies; and the sense that every image belongs to something larger than a tourism campaign. Film helped us move away from a purely promotional language and towards a piece with memory, sensitivity and character.

Your lips are like scarlet ribbon;
your mouth is lovely.
Your temples behing your veil
are like the halves of a pomegranate.
