Turns out if you slow down “Girlfriend” by @charlieputh it gets even funkier. Side note: I’m in love with my new K con from @zildjiancompany by @maxmarsillo

This whole album holds a special place in my heart as it was the first record I listened to with Steve Gadd on it - the drum parts are intricate, creative, unique, and musical. I’ve loved Steve Gadd’s playing for about as long as I’ve loved the drums. Overall, I’d say this song gets 5 big booms, shoutout to @a.j.andbigjustice for this shirt
