While updating my website I found this amazing project that I did not long ago and haven’t shared it. Cove, four illustrations, animation. A package that I loved working on for Scientific American. AD: María Amador 🙏🏻⭐️

New illustration for Fortune Asia: “Will AI Kill the Asian Entertainment Industry, or Reinvent It?”
A mechanical hand holding the clapperboard felt like the right image for this one. Not a villain reaching for the camera, just a new hand on set, credited like any other crew member. AI is already in the room on all of it, and nobody’s agreed yet on whether it’s a collaborator or a replacement.

Today I found a very short and fun tutorial from the amazing @aroke.1, and I followed it to make this. His version is really better that this one, but learning how he did it opened me up to new ideas and techniques that I’ll keep exploring.

I’ve been really busy lately and haven’t posted much. Will anyone miss me and my posts on social media? I don’t believe so. But I still need to post something from time to time to prove I’m alive and doing stuff. Sad but true.
Here’s one of the animations I did for The New Yorker during this summer for the Songs of the Summer series, with the amazing AD of Ben Kothe

New illustration for The New York Times, for an August 2026 investigation into how Uber’s lawyers question sexual assault survivors in civil depositions, digging into their clothing, drinking, sexual history and childhood trauma to argue the company isn’t at fault. Thanks Molly Bedford for the trust. by @maxomatic

New cover illustration for @differentleaf ’s Art Issue, guest-edited by Nick Cave and Bob Faust ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . I made a dense and heavily layered galactic collage full of details to get lost looking at.
Thanks Lillianna Pereira from Aldeia Design for this dream commission!

New collage animation for The New Yorker’s Songs of Summer series. This one is Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” and Lucy Sante writes about how the song took her back to late 70s New York and the disco era, when dancing was everything. AD: Ben Kothe. 🙌🏻
