One year since this day.
Still one of the most joyful moments I’ve had the honor to witness.

“They’re just so sweet.” That was the first thing Alice, our videographer, and I said to each other after Jason and Max’s wedding last weekend.

Jason is the kind of person who really cares about details — he wants everything to be just right. And Max is always kind, always steady. They balance each other perfectly.

During the cocktail hour, Max and a few close friends prepared a few simple a cappella songs for Jason. The moment Max started singing, something about him lit up. Watching Jason’s face, you could almost see that “first love” feeling all over again.

And then there were their parents. The way they looked at their sons — proud, full of love — it said everything without a single word. As a father myself, I felt like I understood that quiet, deep kind of love.

After the wedding, I got a handwritten card from them. It was full of little memories from our time working together. I smiled as I closed it — it’s moments like this that remind me how lucky I am to do what I do.
