Happy first Father’s Day @maxtave 🤍 thank you for being the best daddy to our 2 boys. You somehow manage to juggle so many things and still make time for all of us! There’s no one else I would have wanted to parent with, further confirmed by the fact Mochi sees you as #1 (even though he was my dog first) 🐶 by @maxtave

Koa Konane Tavepholjalern 🤍 12.6.25
•
Konane means moonlight in Hawaiian. Koa was born the weekend of a full moon—on what became one of @maxtave and I’s last nighttime walks with Mochi as a family of 3 before welcoming Koa into our lives.
•
The song, “Dancing in the Moonlight” has always held a special place in our relationship as one of our first dance songs at our wedding, so it felt only right to weave that into Koa’s name 🌕 by @maxtave

Out of 1057 senior dogs (age 10+) in Hawaii Mochi is ranked #2!

In the last month he’s averaged:
-10.2 hrs of sleep
-6.1 hrs of naps
- 20k+ steps per day!

Special shout-out to @meggor_ the best dog sitter/ trainer for getting him in shape!
