Konane means moonlight in Hawaiian. Koa was born the weekend of a full moon—on what became one of @maxtave and I’s last nighttime walks with Mochi as a family of 3 before welcoming Koa into our lives.
•
The song, “Dancing in the Moonlight” has always held a special place in our relationship as one of our first dance songs at our wedding, so it felt only right to weave that into Koa’s name 🌕
