Hello guys, gals, gays, dolls, and non binary folk, just here to let you know that I am on the lookout for new massage clients. Yes, I am a licensed massage therapist (not a masseuse I will give you a side eye 😁). I can do home visits or you can come see me Tu, Th, Fr, & Sat at the chiropractic office I work out of. (If wanting to come to me, I'll give you the information when we confirm). I'm available every day. I do deep tissue, sports massage, cupping, scraping, and stretching. I can also do chair massage as well and can do chair massage at your event. Great as a gift. Right now I am not doing prenatal massages. DM me to find out rates and let's get you booked. You know you need it. #massagetherapist #licensedmassagetherapist #bookme by @maxx.vart

Here's the baddie. I got inspiration for the clouds from the makeup work of @meicrosoft. Client liked a previous mural I did with a flower woman and wanted surrealist elements. The cactus was pulled from a different design I had given him. Really wanted to push myself with this one, especially with having access to a bigger wall. If anyone has big walls for me to paint on, let me know. Airbnb, homes, businesses, schools, I'll paint them all. #mural #muralist #originalart #flowerwoman #phoenixartist by @maxx.vart

🎨 Introducing Studio Artist Maxx Valentine!

Maxx is one of five new artists joining Tempe’s Studio Artists Residency this year, bringing her creative practice into classrooms across Tempe Elementary School District.

A Phoenix-based artist and muralist, Maxx creates bold, playful work inspired by Black culture, anime, pop culture and humor. Her colorful murals celebrate identity and make room for characters and stories that aren’t always seen in traditional art spaces.

Through the residency, second graders will get to learn and create alongside Maxx, exploring new materials, ideas and ways of making through art. Vibrant mural artwork depicting a face with surreal floral elements, a monarch butterfly, and rainbow accents, announced as part of the Studio Artist Resident Program. by @maxx.vart

Standing in front of this incredible installation by Maxx Valentine felt especially meaningful. I still remember our first meeting at Fair Trade Café, right across from where this mural now stands. Seeing the work in person was amazing, but honestly, the part that left me most awestruck wasn’t the visual art itself…it was the story behind it.

There’s something poetic about that. Hearing Maxx’s story was inspiring to me, and now seeing that journey expressed so boldly in a public space feels like a full-circle moment.

It’s also a reminder that you never know who is watching, learning, or drawing inspiration from your path. By being your authentic self, pursuing your purpose, and sharing your story, you’re giving someone else permission to do the same. Representation matters because visibility matters. Stories matter. And the impact you have on others often reaches further than you’ll ever know.

So keep showing up as yourself. Someone behind you needs to see what’s possible.

And if you haven’t experienced @maxx.vart work yet, make plans to attend the opening reception for Maxx V’s solo exhibition, “This Is Me” at @chicartistrystudio (222 E McDowell Rd, Suite 101) on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 6:00 PM–9:00 PM.

Trust that the art will be beautiful, but the story is what will stay with you.

Painted the lead singer from The Killers in the Mr. Brightside video for a piece in my upcoming show. It will make more sense as to why I painted him, but you gotta come to the show to find out @chicartistrystudio. 💖MAX VALENTINE | SOLO EXHIBITION “THIS IS ME”

“THIS IS ME” is an intimate art series exploring the layers of Max Valentine’s personal experience—growth, vulnerability, self-acceptance, and transformation.

Through expressive imagery, emotion, symbolism, and raw honesty, Max invites us to look beyond the surface and connect with the moments that shape who she has become—and reflect on the moments that have shaped who we’ve become.

As you move through the exhibition, consider:
💖What parts of your own story have shaped the person you are today?
💖Which moments changed you?
💖What did you learn, leave behind, or carry forward?

Come see yourself somewhere within the story. 🫶🏾🎨

Quick little video to show that I drew out the entire design for my Artsline piece. I'm so incredibly grateful that I got this opportunity and that people get to see it in the wild. This was also a great early birthday gift too. #phoenixartist #originalart #digitalart #mural #funart by @maxx.vart
