I was due to join today’s panel in Kettering celebrating and honouring women, but unfortunately I won’t be able to attend.

After 10 years deliberately away from public visibility, this was a meaningful invitation and one I was genuinely looking forward to. I’m disappointed to miss the opportunity to share my story and connect with the women in the room.

It’s been an exceptionally demanding week, and with commitments across multiple productions, campaigns and projects also landing simultaneously today, I’ve had to make the difficult decision that I simply cannot travel this morning.

I have a lot to say about this beautiful piece of art and a small team of super people to thank. Firstly @1whydee precious, you made such a musical masterpiece with Bonjour!! Well done on your musicality, production, lyricism; honestly without being biased, your pen game is and always been of very high standards, impressive! You’re peppering everyone, even those pretending not to see you👀🤣🤣 God sees them all!

@dir.jv you already know you’re the best at what you do and Gods got you!!!

WhyDee’s production on the music made it so easy to come up with this concept almost as soon as I heard it!

I will post the process and making of Bonjour on my private Channel shortly but everyone Go STREAM on YouTube and Spotify

Heard we doing throwbacks …can’t believe this was 16 years ago

2025 I wrestled not with my faith in God, but with religion itself. With the state of the world and the division I saw carried out in God’s name, I stepped back. Not from God. From the institution.

This video is from 16 years ago. I was invited to sing in church, something I loved deeply and grew up doing. Church was never far from me, and my faith was once impenetrable. I truly believed God was shaping me for greatness.

For a long time, I thought my gift was my voice. My singing, my ministry, my movement. With time, I learned the greater gift was discernment and obedience. The ability to listen, to hear God clearly. That same spirit has allowed me to save lives, prevent tragedy, nurture, protect, and serve as an instrument of peace and purpose.

The last time I stepped into a church before today was six years ago, after a lifetime of service and faith woven into my identity. Life carried me through divorce, violence, abuse, homelessness, and profound loss. Yet God preserved my joy. I never truly understood hatred, envy, or malice until I encountered them through people, not God.

Stepping away from church, while remaining a praying woman, revealed human nature in its rawest form. Clout. Envy. Harm justified for temporary gain.
I refuse to let people diminish my light.

So today, I returned to church.

And nothing changed.

God is still God.
And He put a smile back on my face. by @may7ven
