At Mayaa Nepal, every small moment becomes a spark of growth ✨💛

This week at Mayaa Daycare, our little ones stretched, balanced, and giggled through simple yoga poses — Downward‑Facing Dog 🐶✨, Janu Sirsasana 🤸‍♂️💫, and Upavistha Konasana 🌿🧘‍♀️. Each movement helped them build flexibility, focus, and joyful confidence.

Out in the garden, the children became tiny explorers 🍃🔍 — collecting fallen leaves, learning how caring for the environment begins with simple actions, and discovering tomato, brinjal, and strawberry plants up close 🍅🍆🍓. Their happiest moment? Tasting freshly harvested guavas and strawberries straight from the Mayaa Garden 🍓💚 — nature’s sweetness in their hands.

💞 [News from Nepal 🇳🇵✨] 💞

On 27 September 2026, the mothers from Amrit School gathered at Mayaa Center for our follow‑up psychoeducation session, “Listen for 10 Minutes, Connect with Your Child.” ✨👩‍👧‍👦

Building on their earlier learning about self‑care and emotional well‑being, this session shifted the focus to the hearts of their children. Through case discussions, videos, reflection activities, and role‑play 🎥🗣️💬, mothers explored how active listening—not just hearing—can nurture a child’s sense of safety, confidence, and self‑worth.

They practiced a simple four‑step approach: Look 👀, Listen 👂, Understand 💭, Respond 🤝.
They also learned how children’s behavior can reveal hidden emotions—fear, loneliness, academic pressure, bullying, or quiet anxiety 💔🌧️.

One of the most meaningful moments was the introduction of a 10‑minute daily connection practice: no phones, no distractions, just presence, empathy, and gentle boundaries 💛📵.

At the end, the mothers shared heartfelt reflections and committed to giving dedicated time to their children, reducing distractions, understanding the “why” behind behaviors, and responding with patience and warmth 🌼🫶.

Recognizing the importance of early eye care, Mayaa Nepal, in collaboration with Matrika Eye Hospital, organized an Eye Camp at Gram Sewa School. 👀
At Mayaa Nepal, we believe that a child’s well-being goes beyond education and basic needs. Health and preventive care are an equally important part of helping children grow and thrive.
Through health initiatives such as eye screening camps, dental check-ups, medical check-ups, and health awareness sessions, we work to encourage early identification of health concerns and promote healthy habits among children and their communities. 🩺👓

This week at Mayaa Daycare, children joyfully explored opposites — big & small, up & down, fast & slow — through playful actions and objects. They also practiced pre‑writing skills, tracing lines and patterns to strengthen focus, pencil grip, and creativity. 🌸

At Amrit School, supported students wrote heartfelt Dashain letters for their godparents, sharing festive plans and drawings full of love. ✨

At the Mayaa Center, students from Janauddhar, Siddhi Ganesh, and Gramin College shared updates about studies, travels, and holiday hopes through letters and colorful art. 🌿

In August and September 2026, Mayaa Nepal organized ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) Camps at Mahankal School, Mayaa Daycare, and Ichangu School, reaching over 250 students and children 👧👦. With the dedicated care of Dr. Priyanka Gupta (ENT Specialist) 🩺🌟, common concerns like earwax buildup 👂 and upper respiratory infections (URTI) 🌬️ were identified early, and timely treatment and guidance were provided.

Children also received ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) 💧🥤 to prevent dehydration, along with advice on hygiene 🧼 and hydration 🚰 — simple steps that protect health and strengthen their ability to learn 📚✨. Regular health check‑ups like these ensure that no illness stands in the way of education and well‑being 🌈💛.

At Mayaa Nepal, we believe that parents are the first teachers of love, resilience, and hope. 💛

In August, during our Parents Meeting at Nepal Ratna School, we celebrated the success of all Mayaa‑supported students who passed their First Terminal Examination with good grades. 🎓✨ Parents were encouraged to nurture healthy habits at home — from hygiene 🧼🪥 to emotional support 💬💗.

Later, in early September, mothers from Amrit and Siddhi Ganesh Schools joined our Managing Emotions Training at Mayaa Center. 🌸 Guided by counsellors Saloni Malla and Laxmi Karki, they shared heartfelt stories of challenges and learned practical tools to manage anger, frustration, and stress. Through exercises like the Balloon Breathing 🌬️🎈 and steps such as Stop, Breathe, Sip Water, Talk Softly, they discovered new ways to care for themselves and their children.

Nicole and Peggy proudly presented the Mayaa Best Progress Awards to 37 incredible students — boys who showed remarkable academic improvement, outstanding sports achievements, and truly admirable conduct. 🏅📚💪

As Guest of Honor, Nicole, at 91 years young, delivered a heartfelt and unforgettable message that lit up the entire hall ✨💛. She shared her secret to living healthily and happily:
