Our gorgeous boy Pop-eye passed yesterday. He will be so deeply missed by us, he has been such an integral part of the pack here.

When we first moved to Crouch End, Pops was part of the core group of dogs that we cared for. We had a lot of puppies back then and he really helped us show them the way, it always felt like he was looking out for them and showing them how to be easy going and confident around other dogs. He was such a gentle soul (what other dog could have butterflies hanging out on them for a whole walk like in photo three?) with the most patient and calm temperament. We could write so many things that we loved about you, your bouncy ears, your cuddles with Sisi, your hilarious way of communicating when you needed something like a lift up onto the sofa with us, but for now we will just say thank you for being the most amazing member of the pack Pops, you were truly such a special dog. ❤️ by @mayaspiers

It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye to my lovely boy Popeye, such a Legend of a dog. Pops, you were by my side from Newyork to London, always the protector. So loyal, the leader of every pack, Sisis big brother you taught her everything.

I'm glad that you left this world snuggling in my arms and that I could give you that comfort. Me and Sisi miss you terribly. 💛💜🩷 by @mayaspiers
