@arthouseleeds Art in the Park event, Roundhay Park Leeds today and tomorrow. Forgot a chair so sat in a box watching park run with a giant mosaic trainer.

All done ... restored, sealed, grouted and cleaned ...vibrant and complete once more. Work not for the faint hearted ..@makemosaictrace and I have not stopped but for the result it's been worth it. Hopefully we've given these fabulous pavement mosaics by @stephen.charnock.artist another 20 years of life 🙏
Have learned so much along the way, Tracey is a wealth of mosaic and restoration knowledge.
Thanks also to @fyldecouncil and the lovely people of St Anne's for the daily check ins, water top ups and words of encouragement and gratitude.
What a great place to work for a few weeks 🌟👏

Another gem from my dad's house clearing ...
My big sis @sally.pettigrew and I back in what almost feels like the olden days.
Wishing you a very happy birthday susmeister... not only are you the best sister i could ask for, you're an experienced and sought after therapist ...if you weren't my sis i reckon I'd owe you about 600 grand 😆 Thank you for always having my back and being there for me, making me wet myself laughing..quite literally on occasion and everything in between. You're not pleasant to get on the wrong side mind ... the bollockings i used to get from using your shampoo and that time I had a bath at 3 in the morning and woke everyone up are memorable 😂
We're very different in some ways but we share a lot of spannerisms ...although i have a much better sense of direction 🤭

On to @stephen.charnock.artist 's two pavement mosaics this week. Initially installed in 2003 , they have faired very well considering. They now need a bit of restoration however so @makemosaictrace and I are on it.
Enjoying all the surprising conversations and comments from the passing and observing public!
Very different style and materials to Gary Drostle's piece but beautiful and impactful all the same.

We managed to pretty much complete the grouting before the rain set in yesterday. Overall the weather has been kind...apart from Tuesday aft's absolute soaking.
The restored sections blend in beautifully, we are very pleased :)
