Two years ago today, almost to the very minute. The excitement I felt as @ya_boy_eddyyyy and I completed our 9 day cross country trip from Boston to San Diego was a level of joy and excitement I don’t know if I’ve ever matched. The significance of the journey out here, the entire new world of opportunities and experiences ahead of me, all the new friends and chosen family to be found and developed, all the personal growth and spiritual awakening in front of me…it was really one of the most important days of my life. Thinking back to that day, it honestly feels like a DECADE ago. The number of lives I’ve lived already in just 2 years in this city honestly blows my mind. The life I’ve built and the experiences I’ve had are far beyond anything my mind could have even fathomed when I first set out from Boston. This city and the people here have given me more than anyone will ever truly realize. I’m a different man in so many beautiful ways and it makes me smile with every cell in my body when I look back at this video and all my memories from my time here. Boston raised me but San Diego has really brought so much personal growth and alignment to my life, so many new perspectives, beautiful moments, and everything in between. I forever love my new home and I’m so eternally grateful for this city and the people here. Can’t wait to see what this next year has in store. Last time in scrubs for a long time!! I will forever be grateful for this job and the career that I’ve cultivated so intentionally over the last 15 years. It has provided me with all the opportunities for personal and professional growth, the ability to compete with (and usually smoke 😇) some of the best sales people I’ll ever meet, the chance to walk across stage many times, accomplish some of my greatest feats of my life, the financial means to enjoy life to the fullest, and travel all around the globe, all while doing something that truly helps people and makes an impact in so many lives. I really am so blessed and incredibly fortunate to have walked this path. With that being said, I am READY to step away, take a breather, focus on my health, my happiness, and aligning with my highest calling and my true purpose for being on this giant floating space rock. Such a heart filled congrats to the Schlissels!!! One of the strongest, most love-filled, inspiring couples in my life.
