!! all of these men are just friends !!

This is specifically for the girls with “daddy issues.”

I used to get really offended when someone said that I had daddy issues, because it was true. I did.

how could you not when you didn’t really get to know your dad until you’re almost 20 and you didn’t have the healthiest masculine figures in your home.

But it’s not a man’s job to fix you, it’s your job to find healthy masculine men to teach you what it actually means to be adored the way that you are inherently deserving of.

if you’re still in denial that you have daddy issues let me know if any of these resonate…

1. You seek validation from men — especially needing male attention, approval, or reassurance to feel worthy.

2. You’re attracted to emotionally unavailable men — chasing people who are inconsistent, distant, or hard to earn.

3. You fear abandonment or rejection — and may overthink texts, distance, or changes in someone’s attention.

4. You struggle with boundaries with men — tolerating behavior you wouldn’t accept from anyone else because you want to be chosen.

5. You have a complicated relationship with authority/male approval — either constantly seeking approval or strongly rebelling against male authority.

Any of these sound familiar?

Listen sis, there is nothing to be ashamed of, and you are not broken because you had a complicated relationship with your father.

But continuously doing one of the above is only going to attract more men who disrespect you, undervalue you, or make you feel unworthy of love.

And let me be the one to remind you, YOU ARE DESERVING OF LOVE!!! Real love, honest love, mutual love- even from just your friends 🫶🏽

Do not allow your unresolved father issues continue to be the reason you chase attention, hate other women, or disrespect yourself.

The moment I finally accepted that I had unresolved father issues was the moment everything began to shift. I started to seek out male friends who were healthy, and we were able to teach me things that I should’ve been taught a long time ago.

Shoutout to all my homies who love me fully. You’ve healed me in ways I genuinely cannot put into words.

Honestly when we first started this we hoped a few people might show up for the vibes, but you all turned it into a family 💛

WHOA Wednesday every week at the @whoadega has been our favorite way to connect with the community. Seeing your faces, sharing laughs, and catching up mid-week has truly become a highlight. You’ve brought so much energy, warmth, and genuine love into this space, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Thank you for showing up, for being you, and for making the WHOADEGA feel like home. We love this community big time
