A little smoke. A little leather. A lot of atmosphere.

pt grad 🎓

“We did it b**ches”

It was truly a pleasure to collaborate with the Class of 2024 over the past three years. I have learned so much from this degree and encountered many genuinely good people and beautiful souls, which fills me with overflowing gratitude.

From all the breakdowns on stage to the late-night study sessions on campus, this was an experience I will never forget, and one I am forever grateful for.

I would like to thank the “Princesses” ( @callia.konidaris , @khanyo , @janelle_oli4 , @caity_ancillotti , @anchendp03 , @_kgaogelo_mogale , @hannah._tayla , and @__zephaniah.x_ ), as well as “My Kings and Work Husbands” (@atlegangdikgang , @_banele.masuku , @khuthadzo_ndou_ , @jaydenbronkhorst02 and
Hien), for keeping me sane. If I forgot you my bad 😩

An honourable mention to Mr David Thatanelo April, I’m deeply saddened that you couldn’t watch us graduate but thank you for mentoring me last year and being a shoulder to just chat and gossip. Thank you for helping me with some of the things that really bothered me last year. You will forever be missed and remembered. Rest in peace sir. 🕊️

And most importantly, to my mom, brother, and sister: I know drama wasn’t something we all understood when I first began this degree, but thank you for supporting me in the best way you knew how.

Mama, this degree is for you. Thank you for pushing me when I couldn’t push myself. Thank you for all the unseen sacrifices you made. I would never take all the credit for this - it belongs to your wisdom, your advice, and the gentle wake-up calls that helped me out of the holes I dug for myself over the years.

Obrigado por tudo. Te amo por tudo que você fez durante estes três anos. ❤️ taken in University of Pretoria by @mcdsdeoliveira
