Our Greed Chamber Chorus for Ted Hearne’s brilliant piece, “GREED, OR NINE RESULTS IN THIS BOOK FOR ' JUSTICE,’” which was drawn from a search on Google Books for Stress Test (2014), by former U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner—about the 2008 recession. It was a wonderful musical challenge in intense rhythmic precision and accuracy to ensure all of Geithner’s quotes were understood! Brilliant and layered, the piece (in my opinion) illustrated institutional & systemic greed disguised as justice, and the preservation of power and privilege. Self-justification at its best, paralleling all too well our current times, of course.

Following are other pics from our concert, some of the composers walking onstage for bows and of course our one and only Ted Sperling, alongside our wonderful and inspiring soloists, Mikaela Bennett and Justin Austin! taken in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center by @mcfromtheheights

Can’t believe it’s already been a month since our amazing MasterVoices Sins & Grace concerts at Alice Tully Hall!!! Reminiscing and finally posting some production pics (very delayed, as per my usual 🤣🤣). Thank you to MasterVoices and Ted Sperling (the Mastermind behind it all!), our amazing assistant conductor Julie Morgan, the incredible soloists and composers—and all my fellow choristers for this wonderfully unique, challenging and rewarding experience! And of course to all my fam & friends who came on out to support and share it with us! I enjoyed every bit of our journey together through Heaven AND Hell!!! 😇🥰 😈 taken in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center by @mcfromtheheights

Camouflage…
Hidden on a snowy branch, a sparrow chirps for joy,
Unseen and unheard.

Before it turns 65 degrees, I thought I should finally post a few snow pics I’ve been meaning to 🤣🤣, even though I know we’re all tired of the snow!

After the blustering blizzard, the cardinal still finds a branch—and a song 🎵❤️
