SPACE SKANK she’s a saucy little galactic gal armed with wicked side eye and a bad attitude.
I’m a huge fan of @the.moon.ghoul art and every October he does something called The Bad Guys Club. A different prompt for a different little monster each day of October. Tons of artist play along and submit their versions and interpretations each day. Yesterday’s was “SPACE SKANK” and while it’s not a drawn interpretation, I wanted to make a little alien gal to play along.
Two hour time limit,
no money spent,
using only costume things from in house.

Editing is all over the place because sometimes eeees just for fun. Adam @its_snaves made the first one and I love the teeth. by @mckenzers

Titania called but she’s not getting her crown back

It’s the start of October which means the creative seed begins to crack open again and put down little roots after a long summer of work and heat.

What began with a butterfly net idea morphed into a a Fey Wanderer out of one of Toulouse Lautrec’s illustrations. In the words of Devil Wears Prada “Give me a full ballerina skirt and a hint of saloon and I’m on board”

This app will forever crop into the strangest ratios but I’m going to post them anyway! My beautiful friend and artist collaborator, V. Surrounded by the daisies that she made and the recycled bits and pieces that she and I can’t help but hoard. If you get a chance to highlight your friend’s beauty and spirit, you should take it.

V. The sharpest and sweetest around. She’ll hit you from the top rope with her sniper observations, but she’ll also make you garlic soup and bread for whatever ails you. A creative engine of a woman with more ideas and methods to recycle and make scrappy art than anyone else I know. Her tender heart and silly pun-loving brain are just the best.
