I’m blown away by the response to the trans flag black parade jacket! I’ve gotten so many encouraging and thoughtful messages about the project as a whole and I’m so grateful.

More venues than I anticipated have policies against bringing flags so this was my solution!

If you aren’t able to see the flag in-person there’s a google form in this account’s bio where you can send in your name or story of what MCR means to you as a trans or gender non-conforming person. 🖤

If you’re an artist who makes pins or patches you can also send me one of those and I’ll add it to this flag. :)

@batz.nd.r0s3z brought the flag to #mcrsanantonio last night! And what a show to be at, omg.

@batz.nd.r0s3z volunteered to bring the flag back in June, and their enthusiasm has not waned in the slightest. 💘 I am so appreciative of their excitement to help share the flag with other fans and learn about the project!

The energy others poor into this living art piece makes the work feel so worth it.

Thank you again @batz.nd.r0s3z bringing trans joy and visibility to MCR’s show in Texas and staying safe! I know there’s blue pockets in every red state, but it still takes bravery to carry a trans flag with you. I adore these awesome photos from yesterday. 🖤🖤🖤

Thank you so much to Terrah for sharing the MCR Trans Flag with fans in Detroit!!

He has been so helpful and communicative with this project, especially as we beared with USPS who temporarily lost the flag. 😭 Thankfully it’s arrived at its next location in Denver, albeit, a tad late. Regardless! I’m still so grateful that it got to its destination intact and that the project continues. 🫶🏻

The next show one of the MCR Trans Flags will be at is #mcrsandiego with @_eg.gp 🏳️‍⚧️🏖️

The trans flags I’ve sewn just keep filling up with signatures, drawings, and stories so here is another MCR Trans Flag to add to the bunch ✌️

This trans flag also turns into a black parade inspired jacket like the OG I made that @allnyxedup has! There’s a video of how it goes from jacket to flag pinned in my bio and I ended up making a second version of that flag too.

In the same way MCR needs multiple sets (LLTBP and MOAT) I need multiple flags to get them to every show possible. ❤️‍🔥🏳️‍⚧️ This flag will be in San Diego next, and the other “Awake And Unafraid” jacket flag will be in Denver tomorrow!

Thank you @queen_of_the_snails for debuting this flag with me in DC and for helping me while I was feeling a shy 🥹 This project means so much to me and I get nervous about how I go about sharing it. It meant a lot to have someone with me who could fearlessly flaunt it. ❤️‍🩹

More photos of this tour still to come!!

OH and if you are in DC check out The Cake Room, next to HER Cafe. 🏳️‍🌈 Say hi to Susan, she’s the woman with me in the last photo!! Try her pistachio raspberry cheesecake and let her know you saw her with the MCR Trans Flag. 🤍🏳️‍⚧️🤍🍰 taken in Nationals Park by @mcrtransflag

Started tearing up in my motel room looking at these photos because I had THE BEST TIME last night. My favorite MCR show I’ve ever been to. I met so many wonderful fans who shared so much love for this project and appreciation for the work poured into it. My heart is so full.

I have some posting to catch up with! Photos of the multiple flags at different shows throughout this tour. Alas, I’m sacrificing the linear order of the instagram’s timeline, but I just couldn’t wait to share all these awesome photos and talk about what a great time I had.

And these are just the photos!!! I have some awesome videos too.

A six hour drive awaits me, but I’ll be riding the concert high all day. 🫡 taken in Target Field by @mcrtransflag
