Couple of Black Cards hitting the road on the way to their owners.

Our "Full Tour Alumni" status is earned through the completion of all of our whole class catalog (save for a couple of our niche classes).

While the card itself is pretty neat, it ain't about that. Achievement shows a true dedication to training and investment in oneself, their family and their community, as well as the desire to be a well rounded practitioner of self defense.

Every time I issue one of these, I remind the recipient that this is not the finish line. There's worlds to learn and refine in this game, and to stay hungry and keep progressing. Exposure is awesome, but there's always more to learn.

Membership has its perks. Upon achievement, our Black Card Holders can jump into any of our classes with openings for half price.

Today I'm sending out Black Card number 106 and 107.

Thanks for the support over the years fellas, and Congrats for achieving your goal.

(Yes I used AI to blur their names, and it messed with the text on the card)

Our last class of the year in 2026 is “When A Gun Is/Is Not An Option” on 11/7 in Grand Rapids MI at @ @barracks616

This classroom, interactive seminar style class is perfect for those who are already involved the gun world as well as those who are uninitiated and discusses constitutional use of force, understanding combative actions and available options in such cases where deadly force isn’t the legal/moral/ethical answer.

Ran by our very own @trexicotrek so be sure it’ll be a good time.

Had an absurdly good time running @mdfitraining Low Light Handgun and Low Light Long Gun this weekend with @mdfi_roman out at @spectaclelakeoutdoorclub

Two nights of locked in shooters did the damn thing. Thanks to everyone who came out and made the weekend what it was.

Truly love running our "advanced" (quotation marks because shooting is shooting, but environments can change) level of classes for our Alumni. Getting people started on their path is crazy rewarding, and we are very blessed to be able to do so for so many people. But there's a whole lot more to the game than the basics, and it's great to see people stay hungry and get after it when the conditions are less than perfect.

Next weekend we're in West Olive MI for a YSINTG and the last Foundation Shotgun of the year.

Life is good.

Hard to believe, but there aren’t many classes left in the 2026 training season. If you’ve been planning to join us on the range this year, now’s the time. Here’s what’s left. by @mdfitraining

This has been my teaching/training workhorse for the better part of the last 4-5 years. Recently needed the grip freshened up and @greatlakescw knocked it out of the park yet again. Big thanks to Brad for the years of continued support and spreading the message of the importance of training and being a responsibly armed citizen.

Shot from this weekends @mdfitraining Cover and Movement class after the signature MDFI rain shower. @trexicotrek is retired and claims he wasn’t in the area but people are asking…

Another YSINTG! In the books for 2026 @blackcreekrange . A bit on the warm side for mid Michigan in the middle of September, but we had a great group of controlled shooters who worked hard all day put up some awesome improvement.

Tomorrow we're out here again for the very last Cover+ Movement of the year.

Want to jump on the line with us this year? Don't hesitate. Only a handful of offerings left this year.

After two awesome classes this weekend, this solidifies why we do what we do.

If you or someone you know is looking for firearms training, but don’t know where to start have them get in touch with us and we will help out them on the right path. by @mdfitraining
