This is what it’s all about! Love seeing people enjoying these drum sounds. The response so far has been far beyond expectations! Thanks for the love, Ola!
It’s not just ‘another metal drum library’. Check out the vast array of demos on the website www.mdltone.audio

It’s finally here! A year in the making but I couldn’t be more proud.
An insanely versatile, mix-ready drum instrument/library. Some incredibly useful built-in mixing features within Kontakt to give you maximum control with minimal fuss.
This has been a game changer for my writing and demoing. As well as being very quick and convenient for my mixing work. I really think people will enjoy this as much as me.

Huge thank you to Moises for coding it and Luan for the design. Huge huge thanks to Pete at Middle Farm and Mike Malyan for painstakingly hitting things for me.

‘Ultimate Heavy Drums’ is available for download now

Please give @mdl.tone a follow. Tons of demos to come

💀 Divine Destruction Drums 💀

The newly released standalone drum plugin from @mdl.tone - Out of the box mix ready top tier drum tones ready to go! Wrote this track only using the included MIDI Grooves (which there are loads of!) and the Modern Metal preset with zero extra processing. Getting pro sounding drums that just work in a metal mix has never been easier. Check it out 👊🏻

Huge shout out to @joshsylosis for sending this across to try out and congrats on the release!

DIVINE DESTRUCTION
.
@joshsylosis has just put out his new drum plug-in with @mdl.tone and of course it absolutely rips! Super plug in (pun intended) and play which I love because as much as I enjoy mixing to a certain point, I’m definitely not amazing at it when it comes to drums and can get lost in the weeds of trying to make a snare sound good rather than actually just getting on with what I was trying to do in the first place.
.
That being said though there are still tonnes of presets and mixing options available if you are someone who wants to dive in a little deeper. For this demo I used the Swedish kit to go along with the baby-meshuggah riffs 🇸🇪
.
So if you like what you hear please absolutely go check it out and support Josh. He’s worked very hard on this for a long time and the results show it, you won’t be disappointed!
.
Also a huge personal thank you from me to @espguitars, @tonyrauser and @drewlinskii for hooking me up with the lovely ESP LTD M-400 to shoot this with whilst I was over in the states, a very sick guitar that I was very sad to have to give back before I came home. Honoured to be working with the best in the business 🤝 by @mdl.tone

The one-shot features in Divine Destruction give you a lot of scope to create different sounds.
You could even load in an anvil sample to achieve similar results to this! by @mdl.tone

Check out this version of Chimaira’s ‘Ressurection’ by @robarnoldworld. As soon as I got Divine Destruction Drums together, I couldn’t wait to try it out in various mixes to see what kind of drum sounds I could emulate.

Had to fire up this recording I already had of Resurrection Rob did for me a few years ago now when UHD came out. Sounding way better now.

I actually used the @jamieslaysofficial preset for this one which emulates a lot of classic drum tones from that era by @mdl.tone
