Ahhh NCECA was such a blast this year!!! I was so so happy to be able to see soooo many of my pals and see all the amazing work around Detroit. It was amazing being back home and in Detroit, getting to be in an awesome show and have my family see my work again, running through so many pop ups and incredible shows and getting to touch and hold so much amazing work, some. I love my friends so much and always look forward to these trips around the country with them, it was so special for it be be back home this time around :)) now I'm spending the next 7 weeks preparing for BCAT here in Brooklyn, so this spring is very ceramics pulled for me lol. I'm excited though to be getting back into my space with all the fresh inspirations from my friends and all the ceramists around the country :)) taken in Detroit, Michigan by @meadowkaye_studio

I need to post more often! So here are some dangle teeth earrings !

I got to do a lil market in december and learned that people really love the teeth! I couldn't believe it really! So for upcoming markets I'll be having lots of teeth available! I also was asked to do a few customs for the holidays and actually really enjoyed it. That being said, if you are even wondering about a custom or commissioning me for something, please do!! It's really fun getting to come up with ideas with someone else and a few were something I wouldn't have originally thought of :)

This year I think is finally the year I really get going in selling my work. It's something I have wanted to do for years! But I was always nervous to try and put it all out there. So I'm so curious how it'll go. Right now, I am going to be at the Bushwick venders market January 31! Yayy

Fingers crossed this is also the year I actually record my processes and maybe I'll even try making a reel lmao. Seems intimidating though ahhhh by @meadowkaye_studio

These last few months has been seriously so so fun so I wanted to share pictures from over the whole experience from the bead project! We had our cute show a week or so ago and it was so amazing. Everyone's stuff looked incredible and I am so proud of us as a whole for what we accomplished.

For those who don't know, the program I finished was a scholarship program from Urban Glass and I was super lucky to be a part of this cohort. The program is to learn glass, jewelry working and buisness school for artists! So I got to try 2 new ways of making work and getting direction on how to keep making work and support myself as an artist!! It was 10 weeks of so much learning haha but I forgot how much I love to be in a space of people learning and experimenting together. It was exactly what I needed honestly

I plan to keep learning about glass and making glass work as well as my ceramics!! I'll be selling my work again December 7th too :) by @meadowkaye_studio

Over the last few months, I have had such a special time getting to be part of the bead project at urban glass. Every week has been filled with exploring a new medium, new pals, and new burns lmaoo

As its wrapping up the next few weeks, we are getting ready for our trunk show where we will have all our work we made during our time and perchance some other goodies! Mark your calendars for November 2nd! There are 13 of us and everyone's work is SO cool. I am so so excited to see what we all create with our glass! There will be lots of jewelry and more!!

The first picture I am wearing some Boro ear weights I made. The 3rd through 7th pics are some of my beads. I have been doing a lot of exploration with soil, ash, copper and rocks encased in glass! And the last is a video of me working on some vials full of pebbles :) taken in UrbanGlass by @meadowkaye_studio

Cone incense burner!

Bummer we were only able to get a full white background since the sheet wasn't long enough, so you can't see the smoke as well, but hey what can you do ! by @meadowkaye_studio
