Two years ago, a gym member approached me about teaching hip hop classes, something I hadn't done in years. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give it a shot with a free class for members. What started with 4 students turned into 20, and it became a great way to connect with gym members. It taught me to never stop pursuing my passions and that making time for what you love can lead to amazing things. Make the time, be present, and see what happens. by @meadowsfitocr

Alright 2026… here we go!!! 🔥

First off, thank you to everyone who reached out and welcomed me back to GoodLife Fitness. Once the news broke, my phone didn’t stop — and I’m incredibly grateful for all the love and support.

For those who may be new to my page over the past 6 years: GoodLife was home for 6 years 2014-2020. As we navigated the COVID space, I made a tough decision to step away to pursue greater financial stability and management growth opportunities with another organization. Those experiences sharpened my leadership, business, and coaching skills — and I’m excited to bring that growth back home to GoodLife.

So let me re-introduce myself 👋🏾

For over 20 years, my passion for the fitness industry has been rooted in one belief: movement is a catalyst for physical, mental, and community transformation.
With a foundation in Kinesiology (York University), Fitness Education (Humber College), and a National Coaching Certification, my career has evolved across training, leadership, education, and mentorship.

As a Level 4 Personal Trainer & Fascial Stretch Therapist specializing in Medical Exercise Programming, I’ve had the privilege of working with everyone from beginners to advanced athletes — including clients managing chronic disease and acute pain — while developing high-performing trainers and leading teams with purpose. I truly love helping people achieve success they never thought was possible.

Beyond the gym floor, my previous work as a CanFitPro Educator, National Snowboard Coach, and co-owner of a community-based dance & fitness initiative has reinforced my commitment to education, youth development, and mental health advocacy. Fitness isn’t just my profession — it’s my platform to lead, inspire, and create lasting impact.

📍 As of January 20th, I’ll be taking clients at
GoodLife Fitness – 137 Yonge St

Now Booking:
• Fitness Consultations & Assessments
• 1:1 Personal Training
• Partner & Team Training
• Fascial Stretch Therapy

Well 2025 has come and gone. 2025 was a year of change from switching jobs from a 5 year Management career at LA Fitness To Altea, Moving downtown and appreciating everyone that helped me get here. 2025 was a year of reconnecting with friends old and new, having more work life balance and just embracing what the year had to bring.

Embracing the downtown life, whether it be going to a drive in movie, taking a dance class, concerts, having a few drinks in the sky at the CNE, hitting the cottage, Pilates classes on rooftops, blue jays watch parties until 3am at Roger’s centre, and some good old house jams with friends for the holidays. 2025 is definitely a year to remember.

Unfortunately I have now transitioned out of Altea due to corporate restructuring and I look forward to what 2026 brings. I will embrace the change to come and continue to reconnect and build this community that seems to be growing every day. Thank you to the Altea community for helping me succeed in 2025 being able to support your fitness journey has been amazing and to all the trainers I will miss working with be sure to crush it.

I will be doing a post for my fitness community as to what 2026 will be looking like and where you can find me for personal training, business development and sales workshops along with other great new services that are around the corner that I have been working on the past few months.

Hope everyone has an amazing 2026

Stayed tuned …… taken in Liberty Village by @meadowsfitocr

My daily shadow, couldn’t have asked for a cat that likes to snuggle as much as he does. Although he needs a lesson in boundaries or he’s just trying to kill me so he can take over the apartment. taken in Liberty Village by @meadowsfitocr

Start of the Hyrox journey - Day 1
1Min run
25kg sled pull
1Min run
25 kg sled push
1min run
24kg farmers carry
1min run
20kg Lunges
1min run
250m ski erg
1Min run
25 wall balls
1Min run
250m row

Feeling: was not easy coming out of a foundation from hip and rib injury sustained a few months back. Lungs felt it for sure but it’s good to get back to functional training. Only gets better from here. Still working on some hip mobility and time to get back to some auxiliary running drills to improve that run technique. taken in Altea Toronto by @meadowsfitocr

A year in review: 2024 came with an opportunity to work at one of the Largest LA Fitness Clubs in Canada as their PT Director to finish off a 4.5 year Journey since COVID in 2020 helping rebuild 11 locations from Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Toronto to Aurora. Building teams of trainers, rebuilding revenue lost from shut downs and learning more then I could ever bargain for about my ability to lead teams to success and learning some hard lessons in the process. Now with 2025 here I’m in my 2nd month at a dream gym in downtown Toronto helping trainers build their business once again and looking forward to building relations with the Liberty Village community at Altea Active in Toronto. So many new things for 2025 are in the mix so stay posted as I’ll be getting back to Spartan Racing and trying out the Hyrox competition for 2025. 2024 saw some low points with losing some amazing people who I will never forget and 2025 will be a tribute to their life and success as I live each day greatful for everyday given. The 2025 motto will be have gratitude for each day and the people that play a positive role in your life. Control the controllable and learn from the things you can’t control. 2024 I got back to teaching hip hop classes which made me put myself back out there to the community and finding me again. I will be working on bringing back in 2025 at Altea Active so be on the look out for class details in the upcoming months. 2025 I plan on taking some risks, putting myself back out there to find some love which I have not done in 4 years, as I wanted to focus on myself for once to become a better version of me and I want to learn something new each day.

Hope everyone has a great 2025. Live like there’s no tomorrow and be unapologetic for who you are.

Cheers to 2025 by @meadowsfitocr
