Being a singer is transformative✨

It tests your limits and demands you to keep developing.

This path has taken me places I never would have gone had I chosen a different life.

Along the way, it has challenged me to become more creative, disciplined, resilient, and courageous.

Over time, I have realized that singing is more than what I do.

It’s a path…

A way of becoming

A way of being

These are a few plant-based sources of omega-3s that I have been incorporating into my diet 🌱🥑

⚠️ Obviously, I am not a nutritional professional 😊

Just sharing a few things I have been learning along the way 🫶🏾

Who has read The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka?

I am attempting to read at least one German book during this month’s reading challenge 📖

This is an English translation of the first sentence of the book:

“As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a monstrous vermin.”

⚠️ Keine professionelle Deutschsprecherin 😅
Ich lerne einfach und habe Spaß dabei! 😘

⚠️ Not a pro German speaker 😅
Just learning and having fun along the way! 😘

Younger Meagan Wrote this in a journal.....

Never forget to believe in your dreams and to prepare for the opportunities that lie ahead. Try to think of the big picture, and do not worry about all of the mistakes you will make. Mistakes are a part of learning, and they will help you become stronger and wiser. Remember to take time to breathe, believe, work diligently, and to love life!

This has NEVER happened to me before 😂🪓
I won all of my games in the first group rounds, playing against some of the guys who are really good, and I aimed almost exclusively for kill shots (blue target) rather than bullseyes (red target) like how they prefer to play.
Except for my 5th and 10th throws, which were this week’s trick shot: an underhand throw… at least I think that’s what it’s called 😂

A fellow axe-throwing gal and her partner taught me how to do it, and somehow I actually did pretty well! I managed to get some kill shots, too, which are harder to hit than the bullseye.

I am sharing this because this has NEVER happened to me before, and I was ridiculously excited. 😂 Not only did I play well, but I even made some of the guys sweat a little bit. Just this once 😉🪓

But honestly, one of my favorite things about axe throwing is how kind and supportive everyone is and it was super fun learning from a fellow ax thrower to throw other things 😊

I am now learning how to throw whatever this thing is 😂 Maybe it’s a nail? Maybe it’s something else entirely?
If you know the name of this tool, please tell me in the comments! I have no idea and desperately want to know 😂

These beautiful photos were taken by the amazing Hannah Friesen, who is not only a talented photographer but also a magnificent singer.

I am so grateful to have you capture these moments of me in one of my favorite places in Berlin, Charlottenburg Palace. Charlottenburg Palace has helped ground me over the past few years and has been there through both the good and the challenging times. It has brought me so much peace and joy, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have created so many beautiful memories in this gorgeous castle and its grounds.

Thank you, Hannah, for capturing a little piece of that for me. 💕

More to come…
