My favourite thing about powerlifting is the intense moment before I lift, the room feels silent, the pressure shuts off and it's just me.

My thoughts are just visualizations of what my lifts will look like, they're not always accurate but we'll never stop!

If it wasn't for my hubby baby sitting me every comp I would probably miss 100% of my lifts. ❤️

Sunday I returned to the platform to compete in 3-lift at CanPL Eastern Championship. The competition didn't go as intended, no PRs and lots of failed attempts but I'm in it for the long haul (definitely won't do bench only AND 3-lift again). Kody and I were the commentators for Sunday afternoon and what a BLAST that was, I can't wait to do that again!

This weekend will be filled with lifting, starting with Bench Only! I opened with something I could move easily on a tired day but the odds of getting a PR were not in my favour... but I benched 97.5kg (203.9lbs) while sitting at a lighter bodyweight! I am FIRED UP to go back to the platform on Sunday for 3 lift! 💪

The coolest thing about strenght sports is you are constantly learning, this was my 7th scantioned meet and everytime I step on that platform feels like my first competition.

July 18th Kody and I took a trip to PEI to be the photographers at Strongman Corps Atlantics! There is no better point of view than a photographers... and I got to spend time with my best friend!
I am SO blessed to have a husband that embrasses my passion and even puts in the work himself, he crushed it! ❤️

Finally took the scooters out for a ride today, I was even spoiled and got to try out the 919! Honestly, a few months ago I was stunned by an R7... but you just can't beat an inline 4 🏍👹 by @meagpb
