This is the reality for cows in the dairy industry. They are repeatedly forcibly impregnated to produce milk, and their calves are taken away from them and then sent to slaughter. The cows themselves are sent to slaughter after around 5 years, when their bodies are exhausted, like the cow in this video. The animal exploitation industry is extremely cruel, but we can choose to stop supporting it. #govegan by @meat_sucks_

This is quite different from what I usually post, but the suffering of wild animals is a very serious issue that we’ll have to address someday.

As vegans, we’re used to encountering the “appeal to nature” fallacy when discussing animal exploitation, but it’s very easy to fall into the same trap when thinking about the suffering of wild animals. Just because it is “natural” doesn’t make it right.

It’s hard to accept, but a vegan world won’t be enough for animals. We’ll need to go further and take all individuals into account, even wild ones.

That is why it will be very important, at first, not to let freed-up farmland revert to nature and to absolutely avoid rewilding.

That said, it’s likely that only a vegan world would address this problem seriously, but we still need to start raising awareness about it.

We vegans are the ones best able to understand this kind of problem, so let’s help ALL the animals on this planet. by @meat_sucks_
