Every second, tens of thousands of sentient beings are born into lives of exploitation and suffering, and slaughtered entirely unnecessarily.

When you think about the scale of animal slaughter and exploitation, it's difficult to grasp the amount of pain & suffering we inflict on animals who are fundamentally not that different from other animals we love and respect, like dogs and cats.

We hope this animation can help show you that animals are not just statistics, objects, and commodities. Each one is an individual who deserves to live a life without being exploited and abused.

Take pigs, for instance. They're highly intelligent animals, with cognitive abilities similar to young children. If given a chance and treated with love, just like dogs, they wag their tails, love treats, and play with balls.

Yet virtually all pigs raised for food, unless rescued, live in intensive confinement and are eventually slaughtered. In the US and other countries, most pigs are killed in gas chambers.

Animals exploited for their eggs and dairy are also eventually killed or die from disease, injury, or other causes. Male chicks and calves are considered economically worthless to these industries and are killed shortly after birth.

No matter how the industry labels it: cage-free, grass-fed, organic, pasture-raised. It's just marketing to sell more, to make us feel better about the slaughter and exploitation our money supports.

It has never been easier to live without supporting industries that exploit animals for meat, eggs, dairy, leather, fur, and much more!

We can live in alignment with our values as civilized, compassionate & decent people. Deep inside, we know animal exploitation is wrong. Let's end it.

Let's end animal slavery and exploitation. Let's treat all animals with respect & compassion.
