The heart is a mystery - not a puzzle to be solved, but a mystery in the religious sense: unfathomable, beyond manipulation… yet in our time we have tried to apply to the heart the same kind of mechanical and structural thinking that has made an astounding technological world… when we focus our attention on the soul of relationship, instead of interpersonal mechanics, a different set of values comes to the foreground. We are interested now in fantasy and imagination. We begin to see relationship as the place where soul works out its destiny. We are not so concerned with how to make relationships “work,” because the soul point of view isn’t ambitious in that way. It doesn’t make love a life project. Instead, it recognizes the truth in a line from John Donne… “Love’s mysteries in soules doe grow”

After a year of many false starts and rejections from Embassy’s, the offer to come help out in Finland came along and boy was I ready to answer the call!
.
It can be so easy to forget how inexplicably life can change, and easier still to not answer the call when destiny rings, when opportunity knocks. So easy to make excuses that it’s just not the right timing or that we are too busy or too tired.
.
It can feel relentless. These last years have tested us so much. Asked us to face uncomfortable truths and change old patterns and beliefs.
.
Are you ready to say YES to summer? 🌺❤️💫

Last night was a very special night. Had it not been for the kind couple in the elevator who told me about this event happening a few floors below me, I would not have found this magical Latin music band @rutaquartet playing live in @yvapuru_studios A real treat to be at such an intimate and special event in the middle of a cold and windy Helsinki apartment building… What a night! 💫💛🎶
