Thank you to everyone who showed up for the Anti-Cimex “Jawbreaker” gig/screening yesterday!!!

Everyone was ferocious and I couldn’t be happier!!!

We raised $521 for Total Agency and that means more people in need will get hot meals and have access to hygiene products…thanks to Yole and his team for helping our communities survive

Thank you for your donations and spending the night with us learning about of the most influential and greatest bands of all time….ANTI-CIMEX

Their intensity is one of the reasons I play today, long live their influence on this noise we make

Big thanks to Rob @ O’Death for hosting us and helping with everything

Anyone who has helped me get vendors or even just promote the event, thank you!

Tomas and Oskar are wonderful directors for letting me share this film with our scene, I am eternally grateful…the entire film was amazing…I cannot wait to watch it again and again

Final thanks to ANTI-CIMEX….Jonsson, Charlie, Conrad, Jocke, Cliff, Nillen, Jean-Louis, Lefty (R.I.P.), Sixten by @mechanizedartificialnightmare

I am pleased to announce an event I’ve helped put together for one of my favorite bands of all time! Anti-Cimex!

JAWBREAKER: an Anti-Cimex documentary

This is one of the first showings of the film here in the USA!

This event will have a punk rock market early day with DJs and live noise later in the day…finishing it off with the film!

A suggested donation of $10 is all we ask. Proceeds will be going to mutual aid provided by Total Agency. They do phenomenal work to help those in need in San Antonio! Come help make a difference for our communities!

Big thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality!

Especially to directors, Oskar Sjödin / Tomas Haglund and of course…ANTI-CIMEX

Jawbreaker depicts Anti Cimex – the band that shaped Scandinavian hardcore punk and became one of Sweden’s most influential musical exports.
From raw recordings in a chicken coop on the plains of Västergötland to punk scenes around the world, the film follows a band whose uncompromising energy and political charge continue to resonate.
Through archive material, international perspectives, and a dreamy, humorous tone, directors Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjödin paint a portrait of a musical legacy that still packs a punch! by @mechanizedartificialnightmare
