A HEARTFELT MESSAGE TO THE AZAYLIONS ❣️❣️❣️

First of all, we thank God.
From the first day we stepped into this department, nervous and unsure, to this very moment of signing out, God has been faithful. Through the storms, the stress, the tears, and the fears, He carried us. And today, we can boldly say we made it, every single one of us. Not one was lost. That alone is a miracle worth crying over. 🙏🏽

My dear Radiographers,
We’ve been through so much, from those long hours in lecture halls to the endless clinical postings that drained both body and mind. We endured heat, hunger, stress, and sleepless nights. We battled with assignments, exams, and deadlines that felt impossible. But somehow, we conquered them all. Together.

We laughed until we cried. We cried until we laughed again. We argued, we reconciled, we grew. We watched each other break down and rise again. Through every challenge, we found a way to hold on, not just to our dreams, but to one another. Our journey was never perfect, but it was ours, filled with moments that shaped us, humbled us, and made us who we are today.
Five years later, here we are standing tall, proud, and whole. We are more than graduates. We are a testimony. We are proof that God is still in the business of finishing what He starts.
We didn’t just survive Radiography; we conquered it.

As we walk out of these gates, may we carry this same spirit, the fire that kept us going when everything else failed. May we never forget how far we’ve come, how much we’ve endured, and how much stronger we’ve become. To my classmates,my family ,thank you for the laughter, the love, the chaos, the memories. Thank you for not giving up.
We came, we saw, and we signed out together.

Radiography Class of 025 , Forever in my heart.
With love, pride, and tears,
Your Class Rep,
Onuorah Lynda Chiamaka by @medrad_025

And just like that, I’m officially a Medical Radiographer. 🥹

I still struggle to put into words what these five years of university were really like. It was hectic, stressful, frustrating, fun, and everything in between.

My journey was far from smooth. There were missing results, accommodation issues (not once or twice 😂), the time I almost missed an exam because ICT decided to remove a course from my portal. And these are just a few of the stories.

Uni also taught me how to navigate challenges on my own, because when you attend a Federal university like UNEC, you quickly learn that no one is coming to save you. 😂 More importantly, it taught me to face challenges head-on and put my complete trust in God.😌

Looking back now, I’m just incredibly grateful. Every struggle, sleepless night, tear, and difficult experience was worth it.
What a beautiful way to close one chapter and begin another. ✨

CONT.
I started learning how to sew until one day, when I went to Chapel to pray, God told me to apply for JAMB again, this time around to UNN, but I refused. Mentally, I wasn't ready for the rigours of reading. I was tired, but whenever I went to Chapel to pray, God kept telling me the same thing. He told me to do it again, this time around with Him. Five days before the JAMB exam application deadline, I reluctantly purchased the form. I didn't even study very hard like other years. After writing the exam, I thought I would score low, but to my greatest surprise, I scored very high. That was an evidence to me that truly God wanted me to do it this time around. So, I stopped sewing and started studying very well for my Post UTME.
On the day of the exam, they had technical issues which prevented me from finishing the exam. Not just me, some other persons in the hall were affected too. I started crying again because I knew I had studied very hard for the exam. But I heard a voice that said to me, "Trust me." To my own greatest surprise again, when the results came out, I scored very high and achieved a very high average score. When the cutoff mark for Pharmacy was announced, I was 2 marks below it. I started crying again. I told God that I thought He said I would get it this time around. I cried, but I didn't know that God was preparing the best for me. When the admission list came out, I saw my name on the list of those admitted into Medical Radiography.I don't know how it happened. I was reluctant to accept the admission initially, but my sister encouraged me to go for it. In my second year at the university, when I learned more about the course, I realised that it was my dream course since childhood. It was exactly the course I had described to God that I wanted to study. It was exactly what I wanted. I never knew it was in existence.

Today, I am a licensed Radiographer. I am evidence that God answers prayers. Whatever you are trusting God for, if God can answer me, He can answer you too. DON'T GIVE UP! You see this profession of mine, I will give it my best. Suits @oma_s_titches

Over the past three weeks, I’ve received so much love, prayers, thoughtful gifts, and kind words, and honestly, I’m incredibly grateful ❤️

I’m excited to step into this new phase of my life. It’s scary, I won’t lie, but I’m trusting God to guide me through it all, and with His help, I know I’ll overcome every challenge that comes my way.

I want to sincerely appreciate everyone who came around to celebrate with me. Even though I wasn’t physically present, I’m truly sorry about that. Your presence, effort, and love meant so much to me, and I’ll never forget it.

To my parents, thank you for being ever-present in my life and for always making sure I have everything I need. I’m so grateful for you both.

To my siblings, thank you for making this entire process feel so much easier. I couldn’t have asked for better people to go through it with.

To my aunties who travelled to celebrate with me, and to my uncles for all your love and support, thank you so much. I promise to keep making you proud.

To my friends… if I start mentioning names, this list will be too long 😂. Some of you travelled from far and wide, while others rearranged your schedules and put so much aside just to celebrate me. I see it, I appreciate it, and I’m genuinely grateful. Thank you.

And to my undergraduate friends, don’t worry, we’ll come and celebrate you soon! 😂 Just attend your classes, read your books, and stay focused. Your time is coming.

As I step into this new chapter, I believe this phase of my life will surpass everything I achieved in school. I will win. I will grow. I will become everything God has destined me to be.

And I can’t wait to see all of us at the top❤️

From Nursing science to Microbiology, to Medical Radiography.

I was depressed, I lost sleep, I felt like giving up.
But “SEE ME NOW, I DON GRADUATE👩🏻‍🎓“🥹

God is soooo good🥹

Our video of my oath taking is blowing up and some asked me in the comments on TikTok, why I kept changing departments. The thing is, I didn’t keep changing departments on my own but I’ll give a story time on that and how I survived.
