Meeting the ladies of @officialkittie and getting to see them absolutely SHRED was such an incredible and special experience. I remember blasting Spit and Oracle on my disc man in middle and high school, my sister April and I had all their posters plastered on our bedroom walls. I started playing drums at 12 years old (25 years ago - happy anniversary to Spit!!) because of @mercedesdrums - she was one of the few examples I had of women out there playing HEAVY music. Made me believe maybe I could do it too. At the meet and greet, I asked if they would sign a @thunderpussiez sticker and they obliged - at which point I learned they actually knew of the band. When I say I almost fucking exploded… full circle moment. So yeah - best night ever. Had to throw these on the grid. Thank you Kittie for holding it tf down all these years 😤 by @meechers_
Circa 2001, not quite prom, but in my first ever formal suit expressing my little gay identity for the first time. This was Easter Sunday (💀) I’m wearing a CKY pin, rocking my DC skate shoes and mouthful of Taco Bell. Come relive the 90s (okay fine the early 2000s too) with me and the talented women of @sideboobpdx this May + June!🥁 Bonus slide: big sis @gaiagreenthumb + me 💕 ✨May 8th • Portland / AA 9pm-11 @mcmenaminskennedyschool ✨May 9th • SOLD OUT Portland / AA 7pm-9 @mcmenaminskennedyschool ✨May 15th • Seattle / 21+ 8pm-10 @hiddenhallseattle ✨May 28th • Ashland Armory / 21+ 8pm-10 @ashlandfolkcollective ✨June 5th • Sandpoint ID / 21+ 8:30pm-10:30 @livefromthehive by @meechers_
