When the kids don’t make it to golden hour but a cup of tea does 🫖😅

My main goal with my page is to keep a digital diary of life- we take so many pictures/videos but I rarely get a chance to look back on them unless they’re curated somehow like in an album or social media. I don’t *love* my entire look here- earrings aren’t my favorite and the bangles don’t really vibe but I love that I was able to do something to look a little more put together while juggling two kids at 4 weeks postpartum. It was also fun to do a little mini shoot with my husband on the first warm day we’ve had all winter. So here’s to capturing and posting more memories of life 💕

Sibling Love 💕

As soon as Nilan walked into the hospital room he wanted to see his thangatchi (little sister) and from there he was absolutely obsessed with her. Whenever he sees me come downstairs without her he’s asking me where’s thangatchi and if we sneak her off upstairs for a nap he’ll notice and again ask for her. I absolutely love seeing their bond develop and know it will only strengthen over the years.

However, Nilan is still a toddler and doesn’t know his own strength sometimes! We all have those intrusive thoughts of squeezing a baby and Nilan will oftentimes act on his thoughts which leads us to keep constant vigilance over the two whenever they’re together. Usually he just wants to play with her for a few minutes and then moves on to his next activity but boy is it a lot of work to monitor him, even when she’s in her bassinet! I’m so thankful to have my family around for the next few months to keep a second eye on them.

Thankful for @lankanboixx packing skills 😅 I gather all the items and he packs them in perfect 50 pound bags 😍

My parents always filled up the max amount of suitcases whenever we went to Sri Lanka- we still have 1 bag that’s completely empty and it feels wrong to not fill it up? What do you bring when visiting family back home?
