There’s something about stepping back into your motherland that you can’t really explain. ❤️🇱🇰

The familiar smell.
The familiar faces.
Family, relatives, and old friends.
The food you grew up with.
The streets, the sounds, the little things you never realized you missed.

It’s more than a trip.
It’s a feeling you carry with you, no matter how far away you are.

10 more days… until I’m back in my motherland. 🇱🇰❤️ #srilanka #comingsoon #vacationmode #countdown #10moredays

Garden lovers, it’s time to save those seeds! 🌱

Fall is here! 🍂 A rainstorm knocked down my 7+ ft cosmos, and my marigolds are drying up too.

I’m saving seeds from okra, long beans, garden balsam, and more to plant next spring. 🌱

Who else saves seeds from their garden? Follow along for more! 🌿

A summer full of dance, devotion, and countless blessings.

We at RTP Adavu are so grateful for the opportunity to perform at various temples and celebrate beautiful religious festivals through our love for Bharatanatyam.

Each performance has been a meaningful experience, filled with tradition, community, and immense gratitude.

So thankful for a summer filled with beautiful moments and cherished memories.

Wife had an idea… and I made it happen. ❤️🔨

I originally assembled this wardrobe when we first moved into our house so my wife could organize her saree collection. Two years later, we’re still making little DIY upgrades to make it more efficient and easier to use.

Today’s project: a custom bangle organizer inside one of the drawers!

I wanted the whole organizer to be removable, so I didn’t want to drill any holes into the actual drawer. First, I built a separate box that fits inside the drawer. This also made it much easier to install the curtain rod holders and rods.

Then I carefully measured everything, spray-painted the parts, installed the curtain rod holders, cut all the rods to the same length, and put everything together.

And here’s how it turned out… 👀👇

What do you think? Would you use a bangle organizer like this?
