Snow by @meera.trehan, illustrated by @alexissnellprintmaker and Published by @walkerbooksuk

Everyday the Princess on the land of Mistmir spends her day digging in the endless snow.

One day a mysterious girl called Ela appears through the mist. The princess realises her wish may finally have been answered.
She is determined to bring Ela to the king, however Ela is shocked to discover that she has found the snow princess from the cover of a locked book.

Can these two girls come together to set things right?

This is an enchanting wintery tale that my eldest absolutely loved - he actually read it, whilst there was snow falling too.

SNOW ❄️

[Ad|Gifted]

Every day, a lonely princess digs through the snow in search of a way to undo the terrible wish she made – one that has left her with an empty kingdom. But one day, a mysterious girl named Ela tumbles through the kingdom’s protective mist barrier. The princess is determined to bring Ela to her father, the king, as proof that her wish can be undone. Meanwhile, Ela is shocked to discover she’s stumbled upon the very Snow Princess whose picture graces the cover of the locked book that Ela’s mom won’t let her read.

Can these two brave girls from different worlds come together to set things right?

This captivating adventure of courage, belonging and unlikely friendship is the perfect book to curl up with on winter nights.

In the land of Mistmir, the Princess spends her day digging in the endless snow . She's looking for something , something that will restore her empty kingdom.

We really enjoyed this magical, snowy tale . Working together can the two girls save the kingdom in peril ?!

The imagery created throughout this book makes you feel as if you're really there , it's really beautiful .

On Saturday, September 27, from 2–3 PM, we’ll be gathering at the 108 (108 Main Street, Narrowsburg) to celebrate the launch of This Way to Happy, the new novel by our friend and neighbor Alison Green Myers. If you know Alison, you know she never does things by halves, so expect more than a reading. There will be a Game Show (with Alison, Meera Trehan, and @magpiewrites as your storytellers), prizes, apple-themed treats, and, of course, books for sale.

Come for the games, stay for the books, and let’s send Alison’s new novel into the world with the fanfare it deserves. #readmorebooks #sullivancatskills Poster design @thejorgecolombo by @meera.trehan
